 This is the Annual General Meeting where we elect a new executive for the coming year. 

There will be reports of the year's highlights and a summary of the tasks that lie ahead. The future holds some major decisions for the club.... such as what to do while Carlingwood Y is renovated and we are forced to relocate the shed. For training, we have to decide if we should continue with the ORCKA program, switch to the Paddle Canada program, or something completely different. We also have to figure out how to rejuvenate the club, particularly the flatwater side, as our membership ages and gets less active.
 
I ask the membership of the club to turn out and help plot our course. Many of the decisions that have to be made over the next year will have a major impact on our club for the future.  We need people to run for every position of the executive...... and don't  worry about being new to the job, we all had to learn at some point and new ideas and ways of thinking are needed.
