Putting Together a Social Committee
Do you have good ideas for social activities, seminars or events? Are you interested in helping to build the spirit of the club?
Helen is looking for team of 4 people to work on the Club’s social calendar.
Being on this team would mean helping to do some of the work for organizing club events, to keep the program running well and find some new ideas to ensure a fresh and interesting program of interest to all the different types club members we have such as new members, long-time returning members and families.
For 2010, this committee would meet about 5 times.
In the early spring to talk about the Meet and Greet and how to engage new members.
In early summer and again in the late summer to plan out the activities for Y-Fest.
In the fall to plan annual potluck and slide show.
In the early winter to plan the Winter Seminar Series for 2011.
