Lac La Peche Paddle  May 2010

The trip got off to a slow start because both Michele and Mike were delayed with the marathon blocking the Portage Bridge. Then on the drive up and at the put-in, there was a cold drizzle.  And we were rather cold at lunch.  But the sun came out in the afternoon and we were able to enjoy some pink lady slipper orchids and the yellow water lilies!
