What a blast!
6 of us paddled happily in the sun and waves on the Ottawa from 6;15 - 8:30 PM
2 tandem boats, 2 solo paddlers.....
After a brief skills and feedback session - we ferried across the river...
The big wave train on north side provided a lot of fun and challenges...
Lots of 'whaaaahooooooooo's to be heard
And the sunset was stunning!
then out for snacks afterwards at Milagros in Westboro.
Same time, same place, Wed PM's in July and August!
The scheme for next week: scoot up to the bridge and then run down the big wave train!
Especially great fun for folks from the beg. ww courses!
Come and paddle tandem or try out the solo boats!
We figure out partners per who has arrived at shed by 5:30-5:45 PM
It always works out beautifully!
