This is a celebratory trip to note the end of another school year! It will be a chance to herald in the summer with relaxation and rejuvenation. We will put in at Rock Lake access and paddle about 4 km. to a 375 m portage. We will have a base camp on Pen for four nights. We will have many options for day trips; nearby lakes (portaging required), exploring the flora and fauna of a creek (Clydegale Lake), hiking on portage trails (2170m to Welcome Lake), or even paddling a more arduous loop for those who can't seem to sit still! This trip can accommodate artists, yoga, readers, story tellers, singers, card players and wolf howlers (and let's not forget good cooks!). Although not a portaging trip, we will be mindful of overpacking!
